Handsome Boys

I got the boys these matching shirts and Jeff was able to get them laughing pretty hard which makes for some really cute photos.

Also Zane loves to wear his swim goggles all around the house. What a funny kid.

By the way I finally got around to posting everything we have been doing the last few weeks. I think I posted 6 postings today so please keep reading all the way down.

Schmidt Fire Protection Picnic

The day after I got home from camp we all went to my dad’s work picnic. They have great Mexican Food, fun for the kids and Horseshoes for the big kids (My dad and his Horseshoe partner got 3rd place). I was still so tired from camp (I didn’t sleep well all week) this is where I was planted most of the day.

There was a fun Jumper the boys loved. They spent most of their time in the jumper. It had a fun slide on one side. Zane was so funny sliding down. He would inch his way down with his face down the whole time.

The boys refueling

Torrey Pines

While I was gone at Camp Jeff had the week off and his Dad came to visit. They went to the beach everyday.

The boys love to get water to build sandcastles (more like make mud and destroy whatever Jeff is building). Zane is my little muscle man in these shots.

The boys are getting so much braver in the water and they even let Jeff take them deep

The boys have so much fun at the beach this is how we usually find them when we get home to get them out of the car.

YW Camp

The reason it has been so long since I have posted anything is because most of my free time has been spent preparing for camp, going to camp and recovering from camp. It was a fun week. We have really great girls in our ward and the stake did a great job with camp. I kept getting the comments, “I can’t believe you came this year.” “You are such a trooper.” Or “Are you staying the whole week?” My response was mostly, well this is my calling, I am the Camp Director, if I was any other calling in YW I probably would not have gone or wouldn’t have stayed all week. I was glad I did. It was a really spiritual week for me, I needed the break and I loved being with the girls.

The two pregnant woman venturing camp. This is my friend Jen, she is a councilor in YW and lives in the same complex as me. She is about two weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy. We are both having boys!

We had two girls have their Birthday at Camp

The girls did a spoof on SYTYCD and it was really funny. I think they had a really good time.

La Jolla Cove

Last Sunday afternoon we went to La Jolla Cove with the boys. It is such a cool place to go. We weren’t planning on going in the water, we really wanted to see the seals but they re-opened the beach to the public so it was full of people and no seals. I guess during pupping season they will close it again to the public so the seals can return. So since we were already down there we pulled out the beach stuff (that is always in the trunk) and let the boys play.

Zackery wanted to go in so bad and would run away once the waves started coming in .

Fire Trucks

We had a fun day two weeks ago. We started the day with a 5K Fun Run our Stake put on. They had a pancake breakfast once we finished and our Fire Station brought a Fire Truck over for an hour and let the kids try on the gear, spray the hose and watch the Firefighters raise the ladder. The boys loved watching but didn't want to get too close. I forgot my camera so didn't get any pictures. Later that day we went down to Qualcomm Stadium. The Burn Institute had a bunch of fun stuff for the boys. There was a fire truck parade that was supposed to be 100 Fire Trucks coming through with their lights and sirens on (it was about 15). There were red, white, green and orange fire trucks and even a vintage one.

There was also a horse drawn one with the Dalmatian on the front. This dog was so funny. He would sit there quietly and then when they started to go he would bark and bark and bark.

There was even a Cal Fire Helicopter that landed in the stadium parking lot that we got to see.

The boys really enjoyed themselves and all the fire trucks. For those who don't know, we live a block from the Fire Station and we hear sirens ALL THE TIME. The boys will hear them and run to the window to watch them pass. Also Zackery's favorite gift from his Birthday was the Fire Truck he got, which the boys are always fighting over. So needless to say the boys love Fire Trucks.

4th of July Weekend

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. My sister, Crystal, came with her husband and kids for the weekend. It was so good to see them and Zackery and Zane loved playing with their cousins.

On the 3rd we went up to our church to watch the fireworks.

On the 4th we went to my Aunt RaNae’s house to swim in her pool and BBQ.
Zackery wasn’t too sure about being in the water

Zane fell asleep in his inflatable car

Zane loved the squirt guns

We went to the park on Saturday. It was a really warm day. The kids loved playing and Jeff and Mark enjoyed playing some whiffle ball too.

We even did some sparklers with the kids

Zackery and Jadyn were so cute riding around Grandma and Grandpa's backyard together
