Point Loma

We went down to Point Loma to check out the tide pools with my sister, Amber. The tide was a little high but it was a gorgeous day so we walked the path and enjoyed the view.

You would never guess that Jeff is in his last few weeks of his MBA. He amazes me how he makes the time to do all these fun things with us when he has all his assignments to do. Only 17 more days and he is done!

* I am sorry I have been slacking on my blog. I am now trying to catch up on the last month of activities.

La Jolla Cove adventure

Another favorite spot for us to go is to La Jolla Cove. We love to watch the Seals, even though most of the time they just lay there.

This one looks like he is smiling.

We have been exploring an area we don't normally and found little tide pools. Zack isn't too sure about this wave.

There is a lot of really nice houses that are right next to the water and rocks and I thought this one was so cool, it had a couple doors at the bottom. The normal entrances are up some stairs.

Of course the boys love finding any sand they can and playing in it. Zane collected a bunch of shells.

Zander is such a sweet boy. He has been especially cuddly lately. Maybe he senses he doesn't have much more time to get mommy to himself. It will be a rude awakening when this baby comes.

Zander likes blowing kisses too!

Zander is already 18 months and such a ham! He still only has 8 teeth. I think his molars are about to come through (maybe why he is more cuddly), I hope they come before Baby Ali does.

Del Mar

We have found our new favorite beach spot and it is in Del Mar. It was a little windy but a really nice day. This picture is actually of Torrey Pines on the drive home.

Zackery has always been afraid of the ocean and pools but is really starting to enjoy the water and get more adventurous.

Zander loves to just play in the sand.

For some reason that day there were a lot of Lady Bugs. Zane loved catching them and having them tickle his arm.

Hilltop

We took the boys to Hilltop park to get out some energy. Zackery rode his bike most of the time and has figured out how to use the brakes. It was so cute, there was another Zachary there and as he rode his bike past someone said Zachary. Zack came up to me and said with wide eyes, "Mom, everyone knows my name!"

We had fun with Zander and the slide.

It was a big slide for such a little guy but he kept coming back for more.

More Easter Pictures

Here are the pictures from Easter Day. Right before we did the egg hunt Zane was running around the house and tripped on his shoes or the carpet and smacked his head against the corner of the wall. It left quite the welt. He was crying, we were getting ice for it and then the earthquake hit and we really didn't even know what was going on in the chaos of Zane's incident. It was a good sized earthquake for San Diego, one of the largest I have been in (to Jeff it was nothing, he was in the Bay area during the one in 89').

The boys had a lot of fun searching for all the eggs in grandma and grandpa's backyard.

Once the boys found all the eggs we had them open them on the couch. Inside a bunch of eggs were pieces of paper that had a money value on them. The boys were so excited to get quarters and dollar bills.

Zackery and Zane couldn't open the eggs fast enough.
