The Best Day Ever!

Well, according to Zane.
It was a fun day. We started the day by going to Albertsons to do their Easter Egg hunt. I didn't even know Alberstons does this but I guess it was a tradition in Jeff's family to go every year and they looked forward to it each year. Well we were not disappointed. There were only about 10 kids there and I brought 4 of them.

We started with a picture of the kids with the Easter Bunny, notice how Zander is not taking his eyes off the bunny.

They separated the kids by ages. There were 5 kids on Zander and Ali's isle. Zander filled his basket fast.

Ali even knew to get those eggs off the shelves.

Zane ran out of room in his basket so he started stuffing his pockets. He had one kid in his isle with him.

Zackery needed an extra bag for all his eggs. He only had one other kid in his isle too.

Here they are looking in all their eggs for the prize papers.

And here we are at Grandma's with all that they scored from the store, they got cars, balls, coloring book, crayons, stuffed bunnies and bubbles. I think this will be our new tradition.

Then they got to play at grandma and grandpa's house before the next egg hunt (which was at a big park with TONS of people, not nearly as good as Albertsons).

Then we had some friends over for an hour before we headed down to Paradise Point (Mission Bay) to have dinner and a bonfire with Grandma and Grandpa. We are so blessed to live in such a gorgeous place!

We burned old tax documents (the boys loved balling up the paper and throwing it into the fire) and enjoyed the nice evening.

We even stayed to watch SeaWorld's fireworks.

The day was so full of fun it didn't take long for this to happen on the way home.

It was a really good day!

Ali is 10 months

This little girl is growing up so fast. She is now standing on her own but hasn't taken any of those first steps yet. She still doesn't have any teeth yet, but she loves big people food. It is funny to watch her try to mash it up with those gums. She is such a sweet girl and all adore her!

La Jolla Cove and Cars

A few weeks ago we went to our favorite place, La Jolla Cove. It was a little overcast but we still had fun. The boys played soccer for most of the time. Ali and I watched the boys and all the people walking by. For Christmas the boys got cars that they got to put together. (We stretch out the Christmas presents). They had such a good time and the first thing they wanted to do was race them down our drive way. Zane was really concentrating to put the stickers on in just the right place. Zackery is our goof ball, he loves to make strange and exciting faces whenever we pull the camera out.
