What a Trooper

Poor Zane was the victim of a dump truck collision. He started crying so I had him show me where he was hurt and this is what I saw.



He got over it pretty quickly and was really excited about the spider man band aid he got to wear.

Trunk or Treat

Saturday night we went to our church for a Trunk or Treat party. The boys had so much fun saying Trick or Treat and getting candy.

Zane was a giraffe and Zackery was a Dragon.




Zander was good and slept the whole time


The boys filled their buckets with candy, but beforehand had fun wearing them as hats.

This was the first time Zackery and Zane saw Zander. You can tell they were dumbfounded and in disbelief. Zander was obviously not pleased.
However, Zackery decided to show him some TLC and Zander quieted right down.

Halloween Party

We just got back from a Halloween party at our RS Presidents house. They do it every year and we were excited to go this year because we hear how fun they are.


These are the costumes I made this week. In case you couldn't tell we are Mary and Joseph. Jeff had fun when he walked in and asked if they had any room in the Inn.

Saturday Morning Fun

It is so nice to have the whole day with Jeff. He has been working 12 to13 hour shifts all week long and it has been a long week for me getting everything ready for Zander's delivery on Monday. This morning Jeff set up the new CD player and then the boys had some fun with the box.






Also I don't know what I was thinking starting a few sewing projects last week. I am in no way a seamstress, I like to sew occasionally. Then once I start a project I remember why I don't sew all that often. My creations turn out okay most of the time, but it is those times when they don't that a lot of time passes between projects.
Well I thought it would be fun to sew a blanket for Zander (in addition to making the Halloween costumes for me and Jeff). I found a cute design on-line to make a patchwork quilt type blanket. Once I started cutting the squares I realized that I should have done at least 8" squares instead of 4" ones. So the end result was 80 squares and hours of work.

I also made a few burp cloths for Zander I thought I would share. These are way easier to do and turn out really cute.

Bonfire at Mission Bay

On Saturday night we went down to Mission Bay and had a bonfire. It was such a nice night. It was a little cooler so we really enjoyed the fire.

The boys love their dump trucks, it kept them well entertained.

This last picture is of me and the boys reading Barney's Follow Me book. This is their new favorite book. They get to follow all my actions and absolutely love it.

One Hot Week

I was so looking forward to San Diego's Fall weather and I got to enjoy a weekend of it, then came a week in the 90's. So what is there better to do in San Diego when it is so warm? Go to the beach and to my Aunt RaNae's pool.

Helping Grandpa

The boys love to help Grandpa mow the lawn! It always takes him 3 times as long but he doesn't mind. What a good "Praka" (that is what they call him).
