This is just one example. He loves to walk around the house with his backpack on. He wouldn't take it off to sleep so instead of causing a tantrum I let him sleep with it on.

Zane, Zane, Zane
This kid cracks me up. He does the funniest things. He makes all kinds of funny facial expressions and is really talking up a storm. He is also quite independent and loves to test me. He has already started the terrible two tantrums (he will be two Sept. 1st) whenever he does not get his way. Some days I pick my battles with him carefully.
This is just one example. He loves to walk around the house with his backpack on. He wouldn't take it off to sleep so instead of causing a tantrum I let him sleep with it on.

Wow, he is in a big boy bed now? He is growing so fast! Too funny about wanting to sleep with the backpack. Sometimes giving in is better than dealing with the tantrum.
I love that you guys update often! Definitely keeps me entertained! I'm so happy you got your van! That's such an exciting thing... getting a new car! I probably should have waited like you guys did to save up for mine... but I couldn't take it anymore... we ran out and got it right after selling the Civic! hehe.

Jeff, it is good to hear from you. I agree, the blog thing does allow us to keep up on what people are doing! You have a beautiful family. Where in So Cal do you live? I grew up in Northern Cal and miss it...well the beach anyway! How long have you guys been there? Do you get to Utah often?
