Sorry for the poor quality of these pictures, they were taken by Jeff's BlackBerry.
Zane didn't like having his hand all taped up to keep the IV in.

Here are the before pictures of his tonsils.

I am amazed at how resilient children are. We were able to leave the hospital about 1:30 P.M. Zane was still pretty out of it but I was more than ready to go home, I had Zander with me the whole time. He is a good baby but I was more than ready to take him and Zane home and have lunch. Zane ate a banana and sherbet as soon as we got to my mom's house and then for dinner had chicken nuggets, marshmallows, and a chocolate milk. I was surprised at how much he was eating and well he was doing on the day of surgery. I am letting him eat whatever he wants for the first couple of days which is driving Zackery crazy because he wants everything Zane gets, he even asks for surgery to be able to eat what Zane is eating. Also as I sat there in the recovery area and saw all these little kids being wheeled out of surgery my eyes were opened a little seeing babies come out of surgery. There were quite a few under 9 months old having surgery. I am so grateful to have beautiful healthy children, it is truly a blessing.

Wow Tiffany,I'm glad that went well. Having children in the hospital is not fun....even for a minor surgery. It sure does make you grateful for their health doesn't it.
That is a crazy picture of his tonsils too! Poor little guy, I' bet he's feeling alot better now that they're out. (:
I am so glad that Zane is doing so well! Isn't it a miracle how fast children heal!? That is so cute that Zackery wanted surgery too :-)
Wow . . . I had no idea that was taking place. Obviously -- since I didn't say anything on the phone this morning -- I'm the worst friend! I hope he continues to have a good recovery.
Give him a big hug and kiss from Uncle Brian and Aunt Cheli. ( :
