Bedtime Battle

I am so frustrated with the boys lately. They go to bed so nicely for me and the second I close the door behind me they jump out of bed and play with each other for the next hour or so as I am repeatedly going back into their room and trying to get them to bed. Meanwhile I am trying to nurse Zander and get him to sleep. It would be so much easier if Jeff was home during bedtime to help me out, only a few more months and he will go back to working days.
Well once they finally fell asleep I checked on them and this is what I found.

Why do I even have two beds in there?

I checked on them again at nap time and realized I have no idea how often they share a bed.

Brian say he has good memories of late night sock fights and playing when they were supposed to be in bed. Don't worry, it will get better.

Well at least they stay up playing and not fighting right? :) Those are cute pictures, they just sleep where they fall. Zaine looks different to me again. They change so quickly.

How cute are they?!? Sometimes my boys drive me crazy, and I should just be glad they love each other so much. I feel for you though, going the bedtime battle alone. Wish I had a secret trick to pass on. But as with most of these trials with adorable boys, I don't. BTW. The Sunbeams were adorable on Sunday :) Hope you are all feeling better.

Have you heard that bedtime is also called 'the witching hour'? In the olden days it was. The best trick that works for our 3 year old is a big-time positive reward the next day. It usually involves a walk or a trip to the park. I do bedtime alone sometimes to and it's not fun, but your boys sure are cute.
PS Your new blog designs are soooo darling!
