Like Jeff hasn't had it hard enough being so sick, he now has the hives all over his body. On Friday morning he woke up and asked me if I changed our laundry detergent because he was itchy. Well that turned into hives all over his chest and back. He called the doctor and got a prescription for Predisone, a steroid. He didn't sleep at all on Friday night, so at 2 AM on Saturday morning he went to Urgent Care (visit #4 in the last week and half) and was prescribed an anti-histamine. He suffered through Saturday and then didn't sleep at all on Saturday night either. So on Sunday morning after going 52 hours without ANY sleep he called the on call doctor again to get a sleeping aide. So finally last night he did get some sleep.
This morning he went in to see our doctor and he doesn't know the cause but is sure it is an allergic reaction to something. At this point it looks like Jeff is starting to clear up around his shoulders, however it is continuing to make its way down his body. It is now on his arms and legs and even the tops of his feet. The Doctor pretty much told Jeff to wait it out and it will go away (within the next few days or week or two!). We are hoping it will be much sooner than later.

Poor Jeff!

Oh my goodness, Jeff! What have you done to deserve all this? :) j/k! I really hope that you get better soon and then stay better. Geez. You are one poor dude!
Awe geez!! Tiff told us about the recent health issues -- seriously, the pics make it look so uncomfortable!! We hope you get better soon.
Honestly, I don't know which is worse, being on Prednisone, or having hives. That medicine is so icky!!
Jarrod actually had something similar happen about a year ago. It started on his arms, then went everywhere! After about 3 different Docs, they finally put him on Prednisone too. It eventually cleared up... but it was horrible.
We hope you get better soon though!
Oh my word!!!!!!!! He must be miserable! I broke out in hives in August and was also prescribed prednisone but the only thing that worked was triamcinolone cream, it was the best, in cleared up in 2 days. He'll need a prescription though.
Hi! Found your blog. :) Your poor hubby! Cute pics of the kiddos-did you take them?
I feel your pain. Good luck with the end-of-pregnancy "jitters"--you know wanting the kid out no matter what it takes...but then you realize that it's another diaper to change and another cry to soothe and a carseat to carry...sometimes I wish I could stay preggers...but then you think of the stretchmarks and that none of your clothes fit and that you'd like to wear normal shoes again and that you would like to spend more time in any other room besides the bathroom...it's never ending. The boys are darling! I love to see the pics! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your guys!
