Strawberry Lake

We did an overnight camping trip to Strawberry Lake. It was gorgeous up there and freezing at night! We saw quite a few animals while there. On the drive up there were a bunch of sheep and cattle along the side of the road.


Our campsite was at the top of the campground and we had a beautiful view of the lake.


While we cooked dinner we saw a few deer feeding by our tent (notice the one on the left behind me). There was a bear in the campground a few weeks earlier, right by our site, luckily we didn't see one.


Jeff was our cook for the trip.


We even had a big play pen for Zander.


Zack had fun with Aunt Michele.



The girls went home right after breakfast and the boys stayed to fish. They only caught one fish, which Mikey caught, but they caught about 100 crayfish. YUCK! They cooked them up with some garlic butter and then ate every last one.
