On Saturday Jeff and I took the kids to the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park. It is nice to have a membership and just go for a few hours.
We spent most of our time at the Discovery Center wherethe kids got to color . . .
Play games . . .
and play with the animal toys.
We did see a few animals and had to pose by the gorilla. It was a nice laid back afternoon.
Jeff and I got to take a “baby-moon” (as one of my friends put it, one last night away before the baby comes). We went to this cute little secluded B&B called “Cupid’s Castle”. It is surrounded by a lemon orchard and we had the whole place to ourselves.
The inside had such charm.

We stayed in the Sir Lancelot chambers.

In the morning we headed upstairs . . .
for our breakfast. Connie (Cupid) had it set up so cute with hats to wear while eating the delicious apple pie french toast.
One last picture as we left. It was nice to have a night alone with no distractions and uninterrupted sleep! (Thanks mom for watching the kids).

Ah, a night away . . . sounds divine. Where is Cupid's Castle?
