My grandpa passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 97. He was AMAZING!!!! Jeff and I lived in the apartment behind his house for about 2 years soon after we were married. We would bring dinner to him every Sunday night and play games with him. He was sharp and would often win the games we played with him. He was also always doing something. He was building something, fixing something or cleaning something. He was also very service minded and would help anyone he could. I loved him deeply and will miss him greatly!
He also had the biggest avocado tree in his backyard. We looked forward to each spring/summer when we could get some of his large and delicious avocados (so much better than anything from the store).

Here are some pictures from the funeral.

Here are his 4 children.

Also a few weeks ago Zane had a Birthday party for a classmate. We weren't there 10 minutes when Zack, Zane and a friend were on the trampoline. I told Zack to not be so rough with so many on at once. I went inside to go to the bathroom and get a drink of water and one of the parents came in to tell me he thought Zane needed stitches. He hit Zack's head. So we left to go to Urgent Care to get 3 stitches. Here are the pictures.

Zack and Zane had little presentations at their music class at school (the carnival fundraiser is coming up). I wasn't sure if I would go or not but I am so glad I did. As soon as Zane spotted me he started beaming and didn't stop the whole time.

I love this video. The beginning is my favorite, Zane was telling the kid next to him, "Look there is my mom." He was so proud to have me there. Here is Zack playing a game with his music class.
